All of our teachers at Bikram Hot Yoga Binghamton have completed, at minimum, an extensive two month 500+ hour teacher training course. Bikram Yoga is based on a simple fundamental scientific principle: heat accelerates chemical reactions. Bikram Hot Yoga is practiced in a room heated to a controlled temperature of 105° and 40-50% humidity. The heat of the room at Bikram Hot Yoga Binghamton is not meant to make class hard. The heat is meant to help speed up your body’s natural chemical processes in order to produce faster and more profound results. Practicing in a heated room also means that you’ll be able to warm up faster, allowing yourself to safely execute each of the postures in the Bikram Yoga sequence.
To give you the best experience possible, the air at Bikram Yoga Binghamton has been purified (both in and out of the yoga room) using a Natural Himalayan Pink Salt Purification process in conjunction with a state of the art eco-friendly Cold Evaporation Humidification process.
